Paul Pogba is set to reduce his contract at Manchester United next season, it has been revealed.

Manchester Evening News says Pogba is optimistic about his future and is ready to stay with Manchester United for at least another year if the summer transfer fails.

Man United value of the -28-year-old, for £ 80million as he nears the final season of his contract but the Frenchman and his family are happy in Manchester.

Pogba and his wife, Zulay, have settled in Cheshire with their 2 young children and sources say Pogba’s partner is very happy in Cheshire.

Manchester United sources have praised Pogba’s expertise over the past two years, despite his desire to join Real Madrid. Pogba has expressed his desire for a ‘new challenge’ in the 2019 transfer market window.

Pogba is currently unwilling to sign a new contract with United and his brother, Mathias, warned the club in February that they risked losing Pogba for free if his contract expires in 2022.
