Cristiano Ronaldo will still write overtime on his previous Juve contract in 2022 and is said to be suspending his association with the Old Lady after their relegation from the Champions League at Porto.
Ronaldo has been linked with a move to his former club Man United or Real Madrid, but Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has ruled that his club does not want to find a former striker.
Juventus boss Fabio Paratici had previously dismissed Ronaldo’s summer rumors, but according to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the 36-year-old was released after a disappointing campaign, with Man United contacting his lawyer, Jorge Mendes.
The report adds that Ronaldo will have to spend a lot of money on his annual salary of £ 27million but is determined to do so in order to get him back to Old Trafford, and Juventus is happy to accept a £ 26m offer for the striker.
The Portuguese superstar has scored 32 goals in all competitions this season, and his first spell at Man United saw him score 118 goals in 292 games between 2003 and 2009.
