Premier League giant Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has made it clear he believes his club will not receive good treatment from officials or UEFA in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
Los Blancos is regarded as one of the key builders of a failed European Super League, which Chelsea joined before the fan-led protests encouraged the club to withdraw, and there is now a conspiracy against the plan, although Tuchel did not want to be drawn into it.
“I trust him 100% more than the referee and UEFA,” Tuchel said during a pre-match press conference on Monday.
“I trust the senders at this level, you need the best referees. I trust them 100%.”
