Cristiano Ronaldo has one year left on his current contract with the Italian giants and is considering leaving the club if they fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
A comfortable 4-1 win over Bologna last weekend helped Juve slip into the top four, as Napoli could have drawn 1-1 at home with Hellas Verona.
Ronaldo did not feature in their final game of the Serie A season, although head coach Andrea Pirlo said the player left the bench due to ‘fatigue’.
According to Sky Sports News reports that Ronaldo and Juve’s throne will now sit down in the upcoming weeks to discuss his future and what he hopes to achieve with the club.
Ronaldo now costs Juventus around £ 52million a year and earns about £ 25million in taxes, meaning only Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester City can sign him.
Despite the disappointing campaign in Serie A, Ronaldo is claiming the Golden Boot with 29 goals in his name, five times more than Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku in 2nd place.
