Following a tragic season in which the Copa del Rey victory was the only saving grace for Barcelona, President Joan Laporta is expected to preside over a significant summer of change.
Barca are thought to be closing down the signing of Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia for a free transfer agent, but the club will have to sell before they can buy players for big money.
According to Sport, Coutinho is one of 10 players to be traded to Barcelona, and the Brazilian striker has been given a new life under Ronald Koeman but missed half of the campaigns with a serious injury.
The report also adds that Laporta is looking for only 8 players in the club ‘untouched’, with Lionel Messi on the list and Frankie de Jong, Pedri Gonzales, Ilaix Moriba, Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo, Oscar Mingueza, and Ter Stegen.
Coutinho has scored 2 goals and two assists in 12 La Liga games, while Everton are the latest club to be linked to the former Liverpool swoop.
