PSG and Manchester City are thought to be the only side that could pay Messi a deal if he leaves Barca this summer, although a recent report says The Argentine is close to a new 10-year contract agreement with Blaugrana.
As a result, L’Equipe Report says PSG will focus on their players rather than trying to sign Messi, as they will still tie Neymar or Kylian Mbappe to new contracts.
Neymar has confirmed that the new contract at Parc des Princes is valid, and the report also adds that PSG will now put all their time and energy into negotiations over a deal for Mbappe, a 22-year-old free agent in 2022.
