Barcelona have offered Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool to pay off a debt owed to the Merseyside club.
Philippe Coutinho claimed Barcelona a £ 105million guaranteed in 2018 but another £ 40million could be due to extensions during his contract.
As things stand, it is speculated that Liverpool will still have to pay another £ 50million as part of Coutinho’s transfer – money that Barca will not be able to part with at the moment.
According to the AS says that Barca officials have suggested that the Brazilian international returns to Anfield clear the debt without receiving any money.
Philippe Coutinho is still a celebrity inside the all Red dressing room despite coming out a bit, making him less visible to the team’s fans.
No matter, his return will no doubt be welcomed, and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was reluctant to finally let Coutinho leave after failing in his best efforts to keep him.
