Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has been named Sir Matt Busby’s Player of the Year for this year.
Bruno Fernandes has provided 11 assists to the Premier League and five others to Europe and raises several charts for a talented and productive midfielder, beating Frank Lampard’s record for a midfielder during the Premier League with his recent strike against Liverpool.
Bruno Fernandes is the Red’s devil leading goal scorer and has worn the captain’s armband when Harry Maguire was out of action against Liverpool last week.
Luke Shaw and Edinson Cavani emerged as the main contenders for the award after enjoying some great moments in a red devil. In the end, however, Bruno was a convincing winner with 63 percent of the votes cast.
Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford finished in fourth and fifth place respectively.
