The Algerian international backed him up in Marseille at a young age, but when asked if he would like to end his career with the French club, the striker revealed he wanted to retire from England.
“No, it’s not something I can say (ending his career in Marseille). I want to finish my career in England and Manchester City,” Mahrez told RMC.
The Le Havre youngster has scored 4 goals and conceded 2 assists in 11 UEFA Champions League games this season and is expected to be in Man City’s XI debut against Chelsea.
