Kylian Mbappe is set to enter the final 12 months of his deal with Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and talks over the extension are still fruitful.
Liverpool and Real Madrid are thought to be considering Mbappe’s situation as the season draws to a close in Paris, with the man reportedly willing to sign him as a ‘gift’ to returning manager Carlo Ancelotti.
However, PSG president Al-Khelaifi has no intention of losing the club’s most valuable assets, telling L’Equipe: “I will make it clear: Kylian Mbappe will stay at PSG. We will never sell him, and never leave for free.”
Mbappe has seen team-mate Neymar commit to his future at PSG, but as things stand, Frenchman will be a free transfer agent at the end of next season.
The former Monaco striker has scored 27 goals in 31 Ligue-1 games last season and will play a key role in France’s Euro 2020, which is considered to be the first favorite of the crown.
