Barcelona president Joan Laporta insists they are happy to Antoine Griezmann stay at Barca for the new season. The French international striker has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, as well as Premier League clubs, as Barca seeks to reduce his salary burden.
But Barca president Joan Laporta now says: “Griezmann has a contract with Barca.
“Unless there’s a movement we’re relying on the player. We can’t deny he’s interested in the player, and that shows his level.
Griezmann, who is returning from training with Barcelona following his involvement in Euro 2020, has scored 35 goals and provided 17 assistants in 99 games for his current club.
