The 18-year-old Ilaix Moriba was played 18 games with Barcelona during the 2020-21 campaign but his current contract at Camp Nou is due to expire next June 2022.
Barcelona left the youngster in his first team for the first season before the uncertainty surrounding his future, with Manchester United reportedly appreciative.
According to Mundo Deportivo, there is a lot of interest in Manchester City and Chelsea, as both clubs are ‘determined to work hard with the player’s signature in the current market.
The report also says Barcelona have offered Moriba a new 5-year contract extension but they will still get a response, with Barcelona now ‘running out of patience.
Low salary demands are thought to be making it difficult for Barca, who are struggling financially in the midst of coronavirus infection.
