Argentine defender Cristian Romero is currently in the middle of a 2-year loan period in Atalanta BC, with a chance to sign for the country of Argentina next year.
According to Calciomercato, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspurs are monitoring the situation as they are impressed by the 23-year-old’s development.
In addition to appearing as a key player at Atalanta, Cristian Romero was selected for the tournament team after helping his country win the Copa America 2021.
The report acknowledges that Atalanta wants to retain player services, which remains a viable option for the 2021-22 season.
Atalanta are happy to pay a € 16m (£ 13.62m) clause in their contract with Juventus to complete the transfer.
