Jack Grealish is believed to have been in Manchester City on Wednesday scoring his final touch record at the Etihad Stadium.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the papers have now been signed between Aston Villa and Manchester City, the attacker targeting the Citizens.
Romano says Greishish has signed a 5-year contract with Pep Guardiola’s side and will go to doctors on Thursday morning before the official announcement.
Aston Villa had offered their captain the opportunity to sign a new improved contract at Aston Villa Park, but Dean Smith’s side also accepted Manchester City’s offer of £ 100 million, leaving the final decision for the Grealish.
Grealish are likely to take part in the Manchester City Community Shield clash with Leicester City on Saturday, but it looks likely that his first game will be against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League a week later.
The player has scored 32 goals and provided 43 assists in 213 games for Aston Villa, including 7 goals and 12 assists in 27 appearances in all competitions during the 2020-21 season.
