Paul Pogba’s contract at Old Trafford expires next June, with PSG closely linked to his services over the past few weeks.
Talking about a move to PSG has been quiet since the arrival of Lionel Messi, but PSG boss Pochettino said “things are possible” when asked directly about Pogba’s departure before the transfer deadline.
“The arrival of a midfielder like Pogba? We know that in football things can happen, situations change,” Mauricio Pochettino told reporters.
“A team like PSG is always open to improving its staff. A field where we have to strengthen it as the most important thing to me? I can’t say for sure. I never did. I’ll tell (sports manager) Leonard first, who will tell our president. If I say so, there will be earthquakes and problems.”
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Friday said his club were still in talks with Paul Pogba’s lawyer Mino Raiola over a new deal.
The Frenchman appeared in his first Premier League game against Leeds United last weekend, giving him four assists in a 5-1 win at Old Trafford.
