Premier League club Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy made efforts to bring Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo back to England.
The former Manchester United striker is in the 1 year of his current contract at Juventus and has been handed over to several clubs in Europe by his agent Jorge Mendes.
According to the Italian Radio 24 reported that Levy had contacted Jorge Mendes to open talks on signing the Portuguese club. Juventus will be ready to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a free transfer agent if he can find a new club.
Cristiano Ronaldo started Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Udinese on the bench.
The point to Levy is that Ronaldo is reluctant to leave Juventus for a team that does not play in the UEFA Champions League this season.
