Argentina possible eleven against Venezuela

The Copa America champions Argentina will play their first game since lifting the trophy in Brazil when they play Venezuela on Thursday, September 2.

As reported on Tuesday, both Cristian Romero and Leandro Paredes were suspended after each received 2 yellow cards.

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni will be without both players in Thursday’s game but according to several Argentine media reports, it could be Pezzella replacing Cristian Romero and Guido Rodriguez replacing with Paredes.

These could be the 2 changes we saw during Copa America when Cristian Romero was unfit and Pezzella started in his place or when Scaloni preferred Guido over Paredes.

Lionel Scaloni has 11 players in the squad with a yellow card and one of them and will miss the Argentina-Brazil match on Sunday. Here are the 11 players:
