Argentina’s squad for the October World Cup qualifiers is expected to be announced in the next few days.
The current Copa America champions Argentina will play 3 games in October, 2 at home and one away. Their first match will be against Paraguay on October 7, their 2nd match against them in the World Cup qualifiers. Their first match ended in a 1-1 draw.
After that, Argentina play Uruguay at home on October 10 in Monumental. This was Argentina’s first match against Uruguay in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. The third and final match against Peru will be played again at home.
The match between Argentina and Peru will be their 2nd in a World Cup qualifier, the first ending 2-0.
Coach Lionel Scaloni is expected to select his team to play in the next few days as the opening game draws to a close.
