The former Real Madrid midfielder Alvaro Benito has asked for a stumbling block over Barcelona defender Eric Garcia. Benito is not sure if Manchester City’s former striker is ready to lead Barca’s defense.
Benito was told Cadena SER: “Eric Garcia is not serious about a team that has been exposed as Barçelona.
“In fact, even City boss Pep Guardiola didn’t have him at Manchester City, he actually didn’t give him games.
“Football is currently under discussion. Eric Garcia is not a defender who will not suffer in this type of situation, with 7 players before the ball.
“He was given a chance very soon according to his qualifications.
“You have to be a superman to play for a team like Barçelona, who has been exposed.”
