Chelsea midfielder Jorginho’s lawyer has admitted that a return to Italy could be “impossible”. Jorginho has had a formidable year at the club and at home, helping Chelsea lift the Champions League and win the Euro 2020 Championship with Italy.
Jorginho has played a key role in all of these victories, though he has seen his penalty saved by Jordan Pickford in England’s biggest win at Wembley.
He has been a favorite of Thomas Tuchel since taking over the reins of Chelsea, becoming a regular in the first team after coming in and out of Frank Lampard. However, Jorginho’s agent has indicated that although his client is enjoying great success right now, he would like to return to his home country if the opportunity arises.
“He has a current contract with Chelsea until 2023,” Joao Santos told Radio Bianconera. “Obviously it would be a dream for him to return to Italy, hopefully after winning the World Cup.
