Barcelona’s Miralem Pjanic’s career has never been remembered, with Bosnia International struggling to secure a place in the club before being loaned out to Besiktas.
Aside from moving to Turkeyclub, Miralem Pjanic is in the news after an interview with Spanish media MARCA in which he strongly criticized Barcelona’s Dutch coach Ronald Koeman.
Pjanic told MARCA “Koeman insulted me,”
“You need to be confident and negotiate with the things that should be said on your face. That never happened.
“This is the first time something like this has happened to me. I am a player who can accept anything but I would like to be given an explanation.
“I do not want to be treated as such and I am still 15 years old.
“I’d like him to tell me face to face that he doesn’t want me. He’s not talking to you and I don’t understand.”
Koeman responded to Pjanic’s words, defending himself.
Koeman told Mundo Deportivo “I think there is some frustration with this player and I understand that,”
“However, in terms of the way we play, our ideas and football without him, he has fallen short of other midfielders.
“That’s all. I wish him all the best. It was weird, but we tried and saw that there were other players who were better than him.”
