Martin Odegaard: Why I swapped Real Madrid for Arsenal

Premier League club Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard has described his departure from Real Madrid this summer.

Martin Odegaard beat the winner in Burnley on Saturday.

He told Stadium Astro: “I loved the job, the coach, the club. I want to be part of the team, build this club and bring it back to the top.

“It is very important that young players get stability and consistency, which I have always wanted for the past 2 years.

“I have signed a long contract and I hope to stay for many years. It’s great to have a strong relationship with your team.”
