The players are reportedly set to be released by their clubs for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar just one week before it starts the World cup.

National team coaches usually get their players 30 days before the start of the World Cup. Players participate in training and play friendly matches. However, with the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, that may not be the case.

According to l’Equipe, the players will be released one week before the world cup first game.

The World Cup kicks off on November 21 and the players will be released on November 14, one week in advance.
