official confirmation, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been fired from his job as manager of Manchester United. After taking over as general manager in 2018, Ole made great strides in the team but did not win any significant silverware. Then came the key players who made it to the top level, and his many clashes as a coach began to emerge.
Since the start of the season, it was clear that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had gotten into his head with bad results for any club in all competitions.
Earlier today, a disastrous result against Watford after the international break would certainly bring his bitter end. After the 4-1 defeat, Solskjaer approached fans to apologize for the result knowing that his fate may be closed.
The board of directors requested an emergency meeting to meet Solkjaer’s departure from the club. After five hours of negotiations, they came up with the decision to release Ole from his administrative job.
Fabrizio Romano was the first to reveal the news, Solskjaer will not continue as manager of Manchester United. Despite the options, Darren Fletcher is expected to take on the role of interim manager.
