Good news for Sergio Ramos, who could be seen for the first time on Saturday wearing a PSG shirt. On Thursday, he trained with the rest of the team after overcoming muscle problems on his own.
The club’s sources have revealed that the former Real Madrid player returned to training earlier last week and appears to be on a par with his teammates. It all suggests that coach Mauricio Pochettino will include Ramos in Saturday’s game against Nantes at 17:00 CET at Parc des Princes.
That could be news because Ramos’ injury problems have prevented him from joining the team on game day since joining the Parisians for free this summer. The 35-year-old defender has problems with his knee and thigh and that has prevented him from training and playing for the team.
Now, he sees the strongest in the body department at a time when Pochettino needs defenders as Presnel Kimpembe also doubts injury.
The Argentine midfielder is accustomed to recognizing players returning from injury so it is possible that, if he does well in coaching the team, Ramos will start on the bench. He may come in later so that fans can see him for the first time.
On the other hand, they missed the training of Messi and Neymar. The first is back from international duty with Argentina and the coaching staff will be monitoring him. The Brazilian is expected to rest at Nantes so he can play Man City in a Champions League match during the week.
