The Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior has expressed his excitement over negotiating a new contract with the club, emphasizing his desire to remain in Real Madrid.
Vinicius remains under contract until 2025 but this season he has made a move from the future to become a first-team star, so he is expected to raise his wage to keep him happy in Real Madrid.
In an interview with TNT Sports Brazil, Vinicius Junior was asked if he felt he deserved a new contract or was frustrated by not being offered new terms, but the Brazilian boy could not calm down.
“At the club, they haven’t told me anything, but I’m relieved because there is still so much time,” he said. “Yes, I would like to renew and stay here for a long time, but I am relieved, everything will come at the right time.
Vinicius has been in outstanding form so far, for this reason, scoring seven goals and three assists in just 11 La Liga games alone.
“Still I have a contract since I was 16. It doesn’t matter to me when I will renew it or how much they will pay me. The important thing is to be satisfied with being in the best team in the world.”
