Barcelona have noticed that their bid for Ferran Torres is on hold. Ferran Torres has already completed his Barca transfer and was expected to be announced as the club’s new player on Monday.
But no announcement has been made and it is because the movement has been blocked at the bureaucratic level.
There are concerns that Barca’s salary situation could be reviewed if the figures are considered on January 3, when the club’s registration window opens.
The Blaugrana have already tied Pedri and Ansu Fati down in advanced agreements, increasing their salaries, and with the signing of Torres, Barca could be left in the lurch.
Barca officials are reportedly in talks with the Liga to find out where they are.
Barcelona officials are said to be hopeful that, if Ousmane Dembélé signs a new contract, they will have enough space to sign and sign Torres.
But they are not entirely sure at this point, and until they do, the contract will not be sealed with a rubber stamp.
Barca does not want to find themselves in an irreversible situation with the arrival of salaries, so they have to tread carefully.
In theory, the January exit will help, but nothing is guaranteed, and especially not in the January transfer window.
