Barcelona suffering from injuries got an equalizer late despite the best efforts of their young players as Ezequiel Avila shot in the best effort of Osasuna on Sunday night.
The visitors took the lead in the 12th minute when two small stars met, with Gavi pushing the ball into the box so that Nico could control it well and roll out without Sergio Herrera.
Barça’s good start came to an end shortly after David Garcia stepped up to take a look at Jon Moncayola’s free-kick, a non-stop defense that helped Osasuna pull the level.
Xavi’s side were leading in the second half, although there was no dispute.
The athletes were sure they should have received a penalty when the clearance hit Sergio Busquets in the arm, but nothing was given and a counter-attack saw Abdessamad Ezzalzouli hit a volley in the top corner.
Barça looked to be in danger due to sets all night and their failure to clear one late to Avila who connected the ball to the edge of the field. The Argentine striker has criticized Marc-Andre ter Stegen, criticizing Blaugrana and Xavi for another disappointing result.
The result means Barcelona sits in eighth place in La Liga, while Osasuna jumps from one place to tenth.
