Bayern Munich boss Oliver Kahn has given Manchester United a push for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Kahn has played down Bavaria’s interest in one of the hottest small opportunities in European football.
“We have Robert Lewandowski. He will still score 30-40 goals in another few years, “the former Bayern goalkeeper responded to allegations that his team was in favor of Haaland.
The Norwegian prodigy has been linked to a blockbuster move away from Signal Iduna Park, with dozens of top European clubs signing up for his services.
As a result of a clause in his contract, Haaland will be available for an estimated £ 66million at the end of the season, which is set to start a bidding war in the summer of 2022.
Man United is one of the most exciting clubs in the world.
However, they will have to beat players like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and PSG to get the wanted Die Borussen starlet.
Given Bayern’s well-documented practice of signing Dortmund’s top players over the past decade, Haaland’s transfer to the Allianz Arena seems to be a sensible option.
The Bavarians are also expected to monitor the development of the 21-year-old in Dortmund, but a recent statement by Kahn has successfully withdrawn the Bundesliga champions from relegation.
With Munich now out of the picture, Man United’s hopes for services are undoubtedly the most exciting talent in European football.
