Borussia Dortmund reportedly set the end of February as the deadline for Norwegian international striker Erling Haaland to decide his future amid interest from many European clubs, such as Real Madrid.

When Erling Haaland signed for the Bundesliga in January 2020, both teams agreed that the Norwegian player could leave the club after two years if a series of demands were met, as Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc had recently admitted.

As reported by German media Bild, Dortmund is determined to make Haaland a decision by the end of February. A German newspaper has also confirmed that his contract includes a 75 million euro release clause, which will take effect next summer.

Potential players could get Erling Haaland resources to get the above-mentioned figure, and his agent Mino Raiola and the player’s father are expected to receive a commission. This means that Haaland’s signing could cost his next team up to 400m euros in total, in terms of salaries.
