Fede Valverde is a key player for Carlo Ancelotti, although he does not have a clearly defined role. The Real Madrid coach has indicated he would like to have an Uruguayan player on the pitch, even if it means he has to play him back.
Having started the season as a starter, Fade Valverde has returned from injury and is continuing his career as Ancelotti’s loyal man. Taking his place in the middle of the pitch in the last few games, he has shown his value to the team against Cadiz and Athletic in the final 2021 games, providing balance and creative ability.
Fede Valverde aims to make things difficult for the coach and, during the season, is actually his second most used midfielder. Casemiro leads the way with played 23 games, followed by Valverde with played 19, followed by Luka Modric played (18), Toni Kroos, and Eduardo Camavinga played (both 17).
The Uruguayan international player’s versatility benefits him in terms of game time, as he has played a number of positions this season, including various midfield, right and right back.
