PSG defender Sergio Ramos is once again out for class against Monaco. The medical report also provides an update on Neymar: he will be out for another 6 to 8 weeks.
The club’s health report reveals that Sergio Ramos, who has played one match for PSG in his new team, “is continuing with his preparations alone and together in the coming days with the intention of joining the club next week.”
“Let’s hope his progress is good and he can be with the team before the end of the year,” his coach Mauricio Pochettino told a news conference ahead of the game.
Sergio Ramos, 35, arrived last summer from PSG, but a series of injuries eventually delayed his game which finally came on November 28 against St Etienne. After the match, the team claimed that the defender was suffering from “muscle fatigue” which prevented him from playing.
Neymar will not be available for Monaco as he continues to recover. Presnel Kimpembe has also been discharged due to abdominal pain. As for Neymar, the club have said he is recovering at a center in Ooredo and will not return between six and eight weeks.
