Joan Laporta: Ousmane Dembele better than Kylain Mbappe

Barcelona president Joan Laporta believes Ousmane Dembele is a better player than Real Madrid targeted by Kylian Mbappe and expects the Frenchman to revive at the Camp Nou.

Negotiations over Dembele’s contract have been going on for a long time, leading to fears about the situation for many Blaugrana supporters, but the president does not care.

“We have a very good relationship with Dembele and he wants to stay,” Laporta told TV3.

“We also want him to stay because he is a great player.

“These situations require discussions with players’ representatives who want the best.

“I’m excited for Dembele. He’s a better player than Mbappe.”
