Karim Benzema has been enjoying his football in recent months and has truly become a talisman for the Real Madrid side.
The striker discussed the Ballon d’Or, his team’s next match against Paris Saint Germain with two key men, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
Some people have been criticizing Leo Messi since he moved to PSG from Barcelona last summer, but Benzema has no doubt that he will be a success in the French capital.
“There is no way he can do well,” Benzema told Telefoot.
“This is a time when he gets used to it, because he doesn’t score many goals.
However, watch what he does on the field.
“Still, you can’t criticize a player like that. Anyone who criticizes Messi doesn’t really understand football.”
He will also face Frenchman Mbappe in the next Champions League semi-final.
“Dealing with Mbappe? It will be special,” he said.
“We are good friends, let’s see what happens
“You want to win with me as well.”
Madrid have been given a tough game against the French league leaders, but Benzema insists they are ready.
“We would like to be cheated on by someone else, but be prepared,” he assured fans.
Benzema finished fourth in the final results of the 2021 Ballon d’Or, and he believes he could have done nothing more.
“As I have said since I was a child: being fourth, third, second or 30th is all the same,” notes Benzema.
“The important thing is to win.
“Later, they told me that I had not won enough trophies, but I could not do anything else.
