Barcelona have completed the signing of young Fabio Blanco from Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. The Spanish Under-19 international will be joining Group B under Sergi Barjuan.
The 17-year-old has signed a contract at Camp Nou until June 2024 for a € 100 million release clause.
“The most important day for me,” he said. “I look forward to donating everything to the team. I am very proud to be a part of this great club.”
Part of an academy level in Valencia from the age of 12, Blanco left Spain for Germany when he joined Frankfurt in July.
He has played eight league games for the under-19 team this season, scored two goals and signed one assist.
Blanco could play his first Barca B match against Betis Deportivo on Sunday.
