Sergio Ramos is expected to miss the Paris Saint-Germain UEFA Champions League Last-16 match against Real Madrid at the Parc des Princes on February 15 after injuring a calf last Thursday.

PSG have announced that the Spanish international defender will not be available for Mauricio Pochettino in the Coupe de France match against Nice on Monday, January 31.

“Sergio Ramos will have to rest due to a lower extremity muscle injury in his right calf that occurred on Thursday during training and will be re-examined in the middle of the week,” read a PSG statement.

Neymar and Georginio Wijnaldum are also injured, while Keylor Navas, Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria, Abdou Diallo and Idrissa Gueye are all out of international duty.

PSG moved to Sergio Ramos last summer after it was confirmed that the Spaniard will not renew his contract with Real Madrid.

However, Sergio Ramos has played just five games since joining PSG, playing a full 90 minutes in just two of those.

The former Real Madrid captain has scored three goals since signing for PSG, particularly suffering from calf injuries since the end of the 2020/21 season.
