Cristiano Ronaldo may get the chance to link up with long-time rival Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain should Kylian Mbappe leave.
Kylian Mbappe’s name continues to dominate the exchange columns as he nears the end of his Paris Saint-Germain contract.
While Mbappe’s future this season remains uncertain, PSG appears to already have plans in place if he leaves.
And if one leading star leaves the French capital, another can come to his place.
According to The Mirror, PSG are looking to bring in Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo if they can convince Mbappe to sign a big-money deal.
Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford last August, but the 37-year-old is said to be considering his future after a grueling campaign.
Should Ronaldo be tempted to move on to Ligue 1, already in the Premier League, LaLiga, and Serie A, he could get a chance to meet Lionel Messi.
The two have 12 Ballons d’Or between them and are considered to be the two greatest players ever.
