Joan Laporta and Barcelona technical secretary Jordi Cruyff met with Mino Raiola, Erling Haaland’s agent, to discuss the future of the Norwegian player.
Haaland’s future beyond this season will be the biggest gateway to the summer transfer window, as the 75 million euro release clause will allow him to leave Borussia Dortmund.
According to De Telegraaf, Laporta met with Raiola in Monaco, where they discussed Haaland with Noussair Mazraoui, also represented by Raiola.
Barcelona are among a few major clubs that have shown interest in signing Haaland, including Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Laporta and Raiola have a strong relationship, which could be the key to Barcelona making their game to bring Haaland to Blaugrana.
Haaland will no doubt have a team formed next to him by Xavi Hernandez, who already has a lot of momentum in his attacking options with the arrival of Adam Traore, Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
