Mauricio Pochettino’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain next summer is expected to be followed by the appointment of Zinedine Zidane, and the Frenchman reportedly wants to reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo in Paris.
The two men have already worked together at Real Madrid and maintained a good relationship after winning three consecutive UEFA Champions League trophies in Los Blancos.
According to the Daily Mirror, Zidane is set to join PSG next summer and his first request will be to bring in Ronaldo, who returned to Manchester United last summer after parting ways with Juventus.
PSG have already tried to sign the Portuguese midfielder in the past but failed to convince him to move to Paris. However, according to England reports, this time around Cristiano Ronaldo seems determined to take advantage of the opportunity to play with Lionel Messi and Neymar at Parc des Princes.
The Argentine coach appears to have been Sir Alex Ferguson’s replacement at Manchester United at the end of the season, as Ralf Ragnick’s contract as an interim manager is not expected to be fulfilled following disappointing results.
