The Brazilian coach, Tite, praised the performance of his brilliant Brazilian team after a successful 4-0 victory in a World Cup qualifier in Bolivia on Tuesday.

Goals from Lucas Paqueta, Richarlison (two), and Bruno Guimaraes closed off a typical La Paz victory, a very difficult place to play in terms of height, Tite said before the game.

The Selections were already ready for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar so Tite was delighted to make the change after a 4-0 win over Chile last week, with Philippe Coutinho and Richarlison joining Vinicius Jr and suspended Neymar.

It was also started by Dani Alves, Eder Militao, Alex Telles, Fabinho, and Guimaraes, who scored his first goal at the world level.

“We have to see the game in its context,” said Tite. “It was a straightforward situation in the first and second rounds. The changes helped keep our balance.

“Strategically we play 4-4-3 almost always, even in different situations. Sometimes we have a floating player like Coutinho today. The striker hit the space today. In another game there were two defenders. With two arrows on their side.

The 60-year-old also spoke about the difficulty of playing in La Paz, saying that he would struggle if he just stood on the fence.

“To deal with such difficulties and to be able to produce this figure, with more shots, to maintain our quality and make changes to the team without losing our model [has been good],” he said. “We get the ball always high, and we maintain a high level of concentration.

“My head hurts, I go up and I breathe.

“A team that has changed its starting players and keeping the pattern, this is important. We always try to do the best work possible. My feeling is peace.”

Brazil sit top of South America with six points after winning 14 games and drawing three in 17 games, ahead of a rematch with Argentina.
