Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid has endured a difficult international break following their brutal disbandment at the hands of Barcelona. However, it did go against that, overall, which has been a good season for Los Blancos so far.

It is the numbers that keep their copy. Under Ancelotti’s hand, Real Madrid have improved their attacking numbers compared to last season with just two goals left to equalize in 2020-21 (88).

Despite not bringing annoying reinforcement, Ancelotti found a way to unleash Madrid’s natural talent, and most importantly, he got the best out of Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian is the third-highest scorer in La Liga and has eleven more than last season. Karim Benzema also has two more in the campaign (32) than last.

Diario AS also delved into the numbers and found that in the 90 minutes, Real Madrid scored more goals, shot more often, and hit the target more often. They also won 10.8% of their games than last season.

Although Eder Militao and David Alaba have won accolades for their defenses this season, Ancelotti’s side are actually defending the worst of last season. Currently, Real Madrid has scored 0.86 goals per game, an increase of 0.12 last season.
