Christian Eriksen has returned to the Danish national team for the first time since a heart attack against Finland at Euro 2020 in June tonight.

The Brentford midfielder came off the bench during a break in a friendly against the Netherlands at the Amsterdam Arena.

And surprisingly he scored with his first touch to bring his team back into the game 3-2.

A brilliant team move allowed Andreas Skov Olsen to head to the Netherlands penalty area before he pushed the ball back into Eriksen to hit the first attempt in the top corner.

The 30-year-old spent three years playing home football at the same stadium while representing Ajax.

An amazing return to international football.
