Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe is set to leave Parc des Princes, and his contract expires this summer.

There has been a lot of movement in PSG in recent weeks as they try to tie Mbappe to a new contract and block his veteran Real Madrid players.

A recent report from AS states that Le Parisiens has filed a bid to extend Mbappe’s offer, which could see him earn around $ 50 million a season in addition to the 200 million euro loyalty bonus.

PSG sporting director Leonardo has now denied the rumors, although he has insisted the club will do everything in its power to keep Mbappe in the foreseeable future.

Leonardo told L’Equipe (h / t Fabrizio Romano): “As long as there is no signature [with another party], we will try our best – we will do everything to keep Kylian Mbappé”.

“The last thing we will include in Mbappé’s contract will be the salary.

“We want to put Kylian in the best possible situation so that he can be the best player he can be.”

Despite recent reports, Madrid are still hoping for a free transfer of the French World Cup winner this summer.

Los Blancos are close to signing him last summer, but their 180 million euro offer has been rejected by PSG.

The Spanish capital club have signed the 23-year-old as the signing of the Galacticos this summer, with Erling Haaland in second place.

Mbappe has been in fantastic form for PSG, scoring 24 goals and 17 assists in all competitions this season.

He scored one goal in Carlo Ancelotti’s side’s victory in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. All eyes will be on him when he visits the Santiago Bernabeu next week.
