Manchester City are hopeful they can complete Phil Foden’s new contract before the end of the season.
Foden, who has his contract until 2024, has been in talks about a new contract for about 12 months, but Man City have not yet been able to finalize the terms.
Last summer, negotiations were kept in custody until Jack Grealish completed his move to the Etihad Stadium, and negotiations continued after the transfer window.
