Paris Saint-Germain came out on top 2-1 in a fierce rivalry with Marseille in Classique on Sunday, with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe securing the title.

All three goals were scored before the break in a long-distance match between the top two teams in Ligue 1.

Duje Caleta-Car canceled Neymar’s first game before Mbappe scored in the penalty area to restore balance, with Marseille having what they thought was a VAR goal-scoring goal at the end of the season.

The win retains PSG’s solid form after Mauricio Pochettino’s side won their last two games 5-1 and 6-1 and brought them closer to finishing the Ligue 1 title.

The first goal of the game came in the first real chance in the 12th minute – Marco Verratti kicking the perfect ball, Neymar firing a volley over the goalkeeper.

Marseille returned to action 19 minutes later, however, with Gianluigi Donnarumma unable to clear Dimitri Payet’s corner and, as the puck surrounded the six-yard box, Caleta-Car took the opportunity to forcibly enter.

Lionel Messi saw an offside goal but PSG took the lead in the first half when a VAR check found Neymar passed a promise linked to Valentin Rongier’s arm – Mbappe’s penalty kick and he fell to the ground. -in the left corner.

Messi and Mbappe met well in the 76th minute, but the offside flag once again denied PSG. However, those who do not know me are the ones who benefited from the firm decision on the other side shortly thereafter.

William Saliba got so well into Payet’s free-kick that he hit Marseille, only the VAR saw the defender go missing offside.
