Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola set to sign two-year contract extension

However, the Daily Mail reports that his brother Pere Guardiola is already in talks with City over extending his stay, and the club is growing with confidence that he will sign a new two-year contract.

The report adds that Guardiola still believes he has an unfinished business with the Citizens and is determined to sign a new contract even if he wins the UEFA Champions League this season.

Pep Guardiola’s future is set to be discussed during talks with representatives of Erling  Haaland, with Man City confirming the 21-year-old striker will be working under the Spanish manager if he decides to move to the Etihad this summer.

Pep Guardiola recently revealed how “he is” extremely happy “for Man City and that he has strong ties to the club’s management, but declined to comment on a new contract after Liverpool announced on Thursday that Jurgen Klopp had extended his contract until 2026. .

The Catalan boss has won 10 trophies during his six-year reign at City and some silverware may be available this season, as the Citizens are still vying for the Premier League and Champions League.
