Sadio Mane has refused to be selected for Real Madrid after Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final.
The Liverpool man has so far turned down an offer to offer his future at the club after Saturday’s game, while Bayern Munich have been pushing for Mane as they look to sign Robert Lewandowski.
The interest from Real Madrid is nothing new but it could have shone as a talk about a transfer to Bayern Munich, but Marca brought it back to life with a question for Senegal international.
Asked how he would react if Real Madrid tried to sign him after the European final, Sadio Mane replied: “Good question … to be honest, I’m very focused on the UEFA Champions League, which is very important for me and Liverpool fans.
“Everything else doesn’t matter to me.”
Manager Jurgen Klopp recently admitted he was “indifferent” to the rumors circulating around Mane, and insisted he was not worried about the striker’s future.
Klopp concluded: “Wherever Sadio plays next year, he will be a great player.
