Barcelona and Manchester United have stepped up their negotiations in recent days and are close to reaching an agreement for the transfer of Frenkie de Jong.

The most recent donation made by an English club was 65 million euros and other special items. Barcelona, meanwhile, wants to raise money to pay Ajax for the player’s sale of up to 75 million euros and 11 million euros.

Manchester United are set to reach a total of 86 million, but it remains to be seen how fixed numbers and variable prices will be distributed.

The clubs are not far apart and an agreement may be reached in the next few days.

But that will be just the first step in the agreement. After that Manchester United are tasked with getting De Jong to leave Barcelona.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, meanwhile, has promised De Jong that he will be key to his new project at Manchester and that the club will revolve around him.

The player loves the idea but is not sure. He has always wanted to succeed at Barcelona and this is still something he still wants to do.

Barcelona will have to sit down with the player and explain to them that the best thing is to go to a Premier League club

Catalans have a lot of financial problems and need transfer money. It is also a way to free up a certain room for salaries, and will allow them to go and get the signature requested by Xavi Hernandez. The player is currently on vacation in the United States.

The footballer’s contract will also be extended next season as he is expected to receive around 20 million euros for deferred payments.
