Senegal manager Aliou Cisse has urged Sadio Mane to leave Liverpool in favour of joining Bayern Munich this summer.

Sadio Mane signed the final year of his contract at Anfield and has made it clear to those in charge that he does not want to sign an extension and is willing to leave this summer, with Bayern pushing hard for a deal.

Liverpool have already rejected a request for the German champions’ release but are still in talks over the sale of the striker – something that could be speeded up after Benfica confirmed they had agreed to sell Darwin Nunez to the Reds for a cool 100m euro.

Asked for his opinion on Sadio Mane’s future, Cisse insisted the 30-year-old would “feel better” in Bayern Munich and urged the former to prepare his next move as soon as possible.

“It’s not just Sadio Mane, I’m going to talk about all those players who are in a position to get a team, it’s weird. Why? in November, ”Cisse told a news conference.

“And I tell my boys to try and resolve their contract issues so that when they start their competition, they will have a foundation. I heard about Sadio in Bayern.

“Bayern are tough, pressing the ball with the German coach. Sadio has played in Salzburg in Austria which is a border country, and that means he is not going to an unknown place. For me, the club where he will feel the best is Bayern.”

Bayern manager Hasan Salihamidzic is still adamant about his side’s interest in Mane, instead admitting that the Liverpool striker is one of the few goals being considered.

“We are working on a variety of attacks,” he said. “The transfer market is not easy, it always depends on the team’s financial strength.

“I don’t want to talk about players from other teams.
