The date and time have been set for the first official Clasico of the season between Real Madrid and Barcelona which will be played on Sunday, October 16

Game 9 kicks off at 16:15 local time at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid.

TV channel DAZN will be in charge of broadcasting the most important match of the LaLiga Santander match and two legends Guti and David Villa will be present during the broadcast.

Currently, after six games played, Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid side are top of the La Liga Santander table with 18 points, while the Blaugranas are second with two points less after a draw in the first game of the season against Rayo Vallecano.

With the promising form Barcelona are showing this season with their new signings, the game should be a much bigger spectacle than last season.

Both Karim Benzema and Robert Lewandowski will battle it out to be the most impressive striker on the pitch. The Real Madrid man may have the upper hand with injuries to Barcelona defensive duo Jules Kounde and Ronald Araujo who may not be fit in time.
